I've got to say I've had some really good time in the studio the last couple weeks.  I love preparing for a show as it gives me energy knowing I'll soon be seeing some great people and talking about art!

So, I' m working through a few more pieces for the show.  I  hope you'll fit in some time to visit and check out our art.  Two of my fellow artists, Claudia Roulier and Michelle Lamb, will also be showing their work. Since it is the Friday of Halloween, feel free to dress spooky if you like!

My new Studio D is now in full swing

| 06 September, 2016 14:27

Several months ago I set up shop at Studio D, in the Prism Workspaces' building three. I'm thrilled to join this vibrant community of artists and creative professionals.  Open and warm, they are a wonderful group of established and emerging artists who help each other navigate the ever evolving art scene in Denver and beyond.

My new series, Reflections, is a set of large oil on canvas abstract paintings that combine peacock blues and brilliant greens to gently reveal under layers of terracottas, browns and white.  With one boy off to his first year of college and the other starting his Junior year of high school, I look forward to more time with brush and palette knife in hand!  I hope you can take a moment to enjoy their relaxing nature.  To see them, click here.

Next up is First Friday open studio night on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5pm-9pm.  I will have art displayed for sale along with the my fellow artists in the neighborhing studios.  Should be a fantastic night of fun, and a great way to find unique and beautiful gifts for the holidays or just because!
